Light Where Life Happens

Beyond the walls that hem us in, Where shadows end and lights begin. Keep reaching for the morning sun, The journey has but just begun. Though hands may tremble, hearts may tire, Within us burns a sacred fire. No distance is too great to span, When hope defines the inner man.

The path we tread is seldom straight, It winds through fear and heavy gate. But every turn and every bend, Is not the place the journey ends. It's just a shift in view and grace, A chance to find a stronger pace. For round the corner, out of sight, There waits a world of healing light.

When maps are torn and compasses fail, And you find yourself in the heart of the gale. Look not to the earth for the way to be shown, But to the light that the spirit has known. It hangs in the silence, steady and bright, A beacon of truth in the deepest of night. No storm can obscure it, no shadow can hide, The true North Star that is burning inside.
